Tomorrow sees us heading out on a three day trip to Napier, a well-earned family holiday and a welcome opportunity to explore a little more of New Zealand. We would go for longer, but our pets are something of a limiting factor.
I should clarify, at this point, what exactly I mean by “our pets.” We have a dog, a beagle-puggle cross (the beagle was her mother; daddy must have been a very smooth-tongued pug) named Biscuit, and my wife and daughter have a cat named Oliver. Biscuit’s very much the family pet; I’m afraid, however, that I have little interest in cats, the little balls of furry ego.
